* Our own Larry Horton spoke tonight on positive peace, especially as it relates to the United States' place in the world. Please check out the peacebuilders area on the district website. Every act of service is an act of peace.
* The club auction closes at 9:00 tonight. We've raised at least $5000 at last count.
* A District Grant Update. Unfortunately there was an error on the part of the District Foundation Committee and we were passed over for the district grant. We're looking at other options to fund the dictionary project.
* Rebecca lived through the windy Ride to end Polio on the November 22. She was honored as the top fundraiser for the live ride. When the matches are considered, her total was $108,000. Thanks to all of you who contributed. The total for the ride was $2.1 million. Photos are below.

* After the meeting, the board met briefly and voted to fund two RYLA sponsorships for a total of $900. The board also approved payment directly from the auction provider to RYLA. The remainder of the auction proceeds will go to the District Foundation until we spend them.
* As always, service projects and events organized by other district 5495 clubs are listed here and in the calendar section of the website. Please let Rebecca know if you have something to add.
