* Tonight's speaker was our own Larry Horton, speaking on peace. February is Peacebuilder Month. As Chuck Fitzgerald says, every act of service is an act of peace. Check out the Peacebuilder drop-down on the district website and the Zone 26-27 website.
* Board meetings are now held immediately following our regular meetings. Everyone is welcome!
* New member Dale Barnes gave us a summary of her extensive Rotary experience.
* Joan and Ken updated us on the auction proceeds. We sent 2 delegates to RYLA ($900) and have purchased the dictionaries for that project for about $3700. There is about $2600 remaining to spend. What a great job our club did on this fundraiser. Again, many thanks to Joan for leading the charge.
* Dictionary stickering and delivery will happen soon. John will reach out to coordinate both.
* Check out the April Issue of Rotarian Magazine for a letter to the editor from Rebecca about contraception.
* It's time to think about grants training. We need to send at least two members to one of these sessions to be qualified for District
Grants. They generally happen in March and there is usually a Zoom option. Unfortunately, the dates are not posted yet. Keep your eye on the Foundation section of the district website and the monthly newsletter.
* As always, service projects and events organized by other district 5495 clubs are listed here and in the calendar section of the website. Please let Rebecca know if you have something to add.
