* The board met today.  Ken updated us in detail about our financial situation.

 

 

Our account balance is less than $200.

 

Payables include District dues and TRF Member contributions for a total of about $1200.  First quarter RI and district dues will be billed July 1.

 

Receivables (dues) are about $1150, some of which we are unlikely to see.

 

The family member half price dues leave us in the red for those members after RI & District dues and the mandatory Rotary Magazine subscription.  The last club dues increase was 6 years ago, though RI and District dues have increased. District dues will increase by $6 per year for 2025-26.

 

Options to keep us in the black include a combination of

(1) Increased dues

(2) Modification of or ending the family discount

(3) Not doing the Dictionary Project for a year or more.

(4) Fundraising

 

We'll have a discussion and vote at our next meeting.

 

* DG Michelle's official visit will also be at our next meeting.  Please make a special effort to be "there!"
